Chessing Vibes is built on open-source software. Highlights:

Stockfish 19 (GPL-3.0) — the engine behind computer play and analysis, compiled to WebAssembly and run entirely in your browser.

Per the GPL, the Stockfish engine runs as a separate program in a Web Worker and communicates over UCI text commands; its source is available from the repository above.
