Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

The service

Chessing Vibes is a free place to play chess with friends and teams and to run tournaments. It is provided as-is; we can change or withdraw features at any time.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to create an account. Guests may play casual games.
• Keep your sign-in methods secure; you are responsible for what happens on your account.

Fair play

• Do not use chess engines, bots, or outside help in games that expect unaided human play (rated games, tournaments).
• Do not cheat, harass other players, or abuse the service (spam, scraping, attacking infrastructure).
• We may suspend or ban accounts that break these rules; tournament results can be annulled.

Tournaments

• Tournaments are free. Organizer-set entry fees are marked "coming soon" and are not yet available.
• Prize notes are informational only — Chessing Vibes does not hold, escrow, or pay out prizes.
• Organizers are responsible for their own events and for honoring any prizes they promise.

Content and conduct

• You keep ownership of what you submit (usernames, team names, tournament descriptions). You give us a license to display it in the service.
• No unlawful, hateful, or infringing content. Report problems with the report button on a profile or game.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Chessing Vibes is not liable for indirect losses (lost ratings, lost prizes, downtime). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
